Maui OnStage’s Youth Theater Program is presenting the classic fable the Ugly Duckling. Ugly looks quite a bit different from his darling duckling brothers and sisters. Feeling rather foul about himself, the little fowl finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry Cat. The Maui Chamber Orchestra, directed by Robert E. Wills, is pleased to present Beethovenfest, in an all two-day Beethoven concert. Pieces being performed are Beethoven's Eggmont Overture, his Piano Concerto No. 5 (Emperor), featuring Pianist Jacopo Giacopuzzi, and his Symphony No.4 in B-flat Major. Concert schedule is, Saturday from 7:30-9:30pm and Sunday from 5-7pm. There will also be a Talk Story with the Artists on Sunday only at 3:30pm, free to all ticket holders. $27-$55.
