This goes out to the state official who attended a local high school’s recent anniversary celebration. Okay, we all get it… you’re an important person in the state, and you have a very busy schedule with lots of things to do… certainly not enough time to sit through a whole two-hour pageant. But if you’re such a busy person, maybe you shouldn’t have come at all. That would’ve been better than getting up in the middle of a hula performed by several students and walking directly in front of the stage. You even stopped for a few photo opportunities, directing attention away from the very students who worked so hard over the past few weeks to prepare for the evening’s show. At least have the decency to sit in the back and sneak away during a break in the action, if your time is too precious to make it through the whole performance.
