According to a recent Pacific Business News story, Maui Brewing Company’s Garrett Marrero is teaming up with Chris Thibaut and Bill Terry to build a new brewpub in Waikiki. Apparently, Jimmy Buffett’s parrothead paradise at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel has run its course. Terry took over operations of Buffett’s nearly a year ago and plans to close it in 2016.
