Dave Sweedler: How did you get involved in surfing?
Jimmy Mckinney: Everyone in my family is a surfer.
DS: Who are your surfing influences?
JM: Slates, Tom Curren, my cousin’s Ariel and Gus, my brother Ian.
DS: Do you compete in contests?
JM: I like to because it’s fun.
DS: What is your strongest maneuver?
JM: Carves and snaps.
DS: Favorite surf video?
JM: Searching for Tom Curren.
DS: What other hobbies do you have?
JM: Skateboarding.
DS: Any sponsors?
JM: Extreme Sports Maui, Mark Angell Pro Shapes, Maui No Ka Oi, Sprout Surf and Marvy Surf Materials.
DS: What are your future goals?
JM: To charge big waves, travel and enter in contests.
DS: Any last words?
