Does the four-way race to be the next Hawaii Governor have you flummoxed? Are you having trouble placing Democratic candidate David Ige? Or understanding why Independent candidate Mufi Hannemann and Republican James “Duke” Aiona are running again? Or remembering the name of Libertarian candidate Jeff Davis?
Well, now you have some help. This Monday night, Hawaii Public Radio will host a live candidate’s forum. The forum takes place 7-8pm and HPR reporter Wayne Yoshioka will moderate.
“HPR provides this opportunity for its listeners to hear the candidates’ positions on various issues of significance and thus make a more informed decision when casting their vote,” states an HPR news release on the forum. “Questions for the candidates may be submitted for consideration by HPR’s news department. Suggested questions should be sent before September 22nd to news@hawaiipublicradio.org.”
