A bill that will ban candy and ice-cream at Hawaii Public schools is close to being passed. It seems like a good idea…teachers, currently underpaid and being asked to somehow teach kids without holding class on Fridays, would probably appreciate their students at least not being hyped up during math class. It will make things a little harder for the 7th graders trying to get their sugar fix. Although, I must say, I think 7th graders now-a-days are getting their hands on a much more illegal fix. And a recent arrest of a 7th grade girl for doodling makes one wonder just how much trouble Little Joey will get in for munching on skittles under his desk. Of course, in hard economic times like these, street-smart kids are sure to start underground candy operations: Inconspicuously visit the seventh locker on the left hand side of A building at 7:30 AM sharp, and enter the code “54-20-0” to leave a two dollar bills in the locker. Return at lunch to find a snickers there. That’s right, he just made a 100% profit margin. Maybe our schools are more educational than we thought. Visit this site to jump ahead of the curve and get that candy shop running out of your locker today. By: Sierra Brown
