Greenberg grew up in Miami Beach, Fla., attended college in the Los Angeles area and earned his master’s degree in Hawaii. He attended law school, started his private practice and then worked as a mental health hearing officer. He served as an administrative law judge in California for 16 years before retiring and returning to private practice. Greenberg has since returned to the bench, where he serves as a part-time judge. He has spoken at many seminars and legal programs, and his writing experience includes articles for law reviews, professional magazines and journals. He now lives in Orange County, Calif., with his wife, and they often visit their child and grandchild in Texas. This is his first novel, but he is currently working on a sequel titled, Without Mental Reservation. MTW
