More than $30,000 in scholarships are now available to Lahainaluna High School seniors and alumni for the 2016-2017 school year. Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Scholarship Committee has announced that a total of $35,000 in scholarships will be made available for the upcoming school year.
Ten scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each and one scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to qualifying seniors who will be graduating from Lahainaluna in 2016. Scholarship eligibility requirements include being accepted into an accredited four-year college or university; students must also write an essay as part of the eligibility requirements.
Additionally, five scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each and one scholarship in the amount of $2,500 will be awarded to currently enrolled full-time college or trade school students in 2016. Eligibility for these scholarships includes being an alumnus of Lahainaluna High School.
Completed applications must be sent by email to the Lahaina Restoration Foundation office no later than 11:59pm on March 14, 2016. Scholarship applications may be downloaded from the “Guidelines” section of Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s website.
