Skyline Eco-Adventures recently launched an Upcountry Maui video series that showcases the stunning views, laid back vibes and farm fresh food of the diverse Maui region. The video series highlights several businesses that call Upcountry Maui home; it also focuses on the area’s diverse products and unique visitor attractions.
The motivation to produce the video series “was to give back to Upcountry Maui and present the beauty of the Upcountry Maui region to island visitors,” said Danny Boren, founder and President Skyline Eco-Adventures, which launched the first Zipline tour of the United States in 2002 on the beautiful Haleakala Ranch. “Using video production and on-camera interviews, we were able to capture the essence of the hard work from entrepreneurs who call Upcountry Maui home.”
The video series includes an Upcountry Maui overview video along with individual videos from Maui Wine, Shim Coffee, Ocean Vodka, Hali`imaile General Store and Ali`i Kula Lavender Farm. It also includes image galleries for Grandma’s Coffee, Haleakala National Park, Makawao Town, Maui Hands Art Gallery, Ulapalakua Ranch Store and Kula Country Farms.
For visitors, the video provides a unique look into a region not typically called “touristy” yet welcomes tourists to visit, enjoy and support their Upcountry community. In addition to the new video series, the Zipline website features an interactive map that displays the locations of Upcountry businesses highlighted in the video series; making plans to visit Upcountry has never been easier.
