Honua Kai Resort & Spa in Ka’anapali has appointed Christy Laird as its new Homeowner Experience Manager. As part of her responsibilities, Laird will oversee the maintenance of owner assets. She will also be in charge of providing services outlined in the rental agreements at the beachfront, all-suite condominium resort.
Laird brings more than a decade of experience in luxury property management and homeowner relations in condominium hotels. She joins the Honua Kai Resort & Spa team from Vail Resorts’ Keystone Resort Property Management Company, where she was the Homeowner Relations Manager for seven years and oversaw the home management of more than 800 rental properties.
Laird developed, implemented and oversaw the Vail Valley Lodging Quality Assurance Program for the Vail Valley Chamber & Tourism Bureau, which led to the development of consistent lodging quality standards and a valley-wide property rating system.
Prior to her role with the Vail Valley Chamber & Tourism Bureau, Laird served in progressively responsible positions with Keystone Resort in Colorado. Laird worked in Operations and Area Property Management positions ultimately leading to roles in Design and Project Management, which gave her the groundwork experience in condominium housekeeping and maintenance operations, selection and coordination of trades and managing interior renovation projects.
