UH Maui College welcomes Lou Cooperhouse, the president and CEO of Food Spectrum, for a special Food Industry Fundamentals Series this Tuesday and Wednesday. Intended for established food businesses, or those under development, the courses include Food Trends and Food Marketplace Overview; Food Technology and Product Development; Quality Assurance and Food Safety Principles; and Good Manufacturing Practices For Food Producers. Cooperhouse has devoted considerable time to Hawaii’s unique food industry. Classes run 8:30am to 4pm. $89 per seminar or $300 for the series (4 seminars total).
