Nothing is sacred anymore. Certainly not the beloved, 1970s poverty-is-comedy sitcom Good Times. And especially when it stars none other than David Chapelle as Jimmie Walker’s “Dyn-o-mite!” J.J. We’ve got Oprah Winfrey in the role of sharp-tongued mama Florida Evans. Samuel L. Jackson plays belt-disciplinarian papa James. Pam Grier is sassy neighbor Willona. Spike Lee’s the preadolescent black activist son Michael. And Jessica Alba portrays hottie daughter Thelma. Look, I know she’s not black but Hollywood doesn’t make a movie without Jessica Alba these days so just live with it. (Samantha Campos)
