If you’re one of those people who like fine wine and great food, you might want to head over to the Westside this Thursday for Kahana Grill’s Taste of Oregon dinner. Guests will enjoy three old-world white and three vintage red wines reflective of their Oregon roots. The three-course meal by Chef Alex Stainslaw will begin with pupu mussels followed by prawns, oven-poached monchong, duck and, finally, desserts. Savor the Willamette Valley’s selection including 2009 Beaux Frères Pinot Noir “The Upper Terrace,” 2011 Ken Wright Pinot Blanc and 2010 Chehalem Inox Chardonnay. $70. 6pm. Kahana Grill (4405 Honoapiilani Hwy Ste. 301, Kahana); 808-669-4000, Kahanagrill.com
