Now celebrating its fifth year, the Wailea Food & Wine Celebration features Maui’s top chefs and vintners, a fine art and fine dining auction, music and the joyful company of artists and friends. Good company. Stunning Views. Relaxed atmosphere. Worthy cause.
Surrounded by the peaceful ambiance and tropical views from the Hotel Wailea, guests will experience incredible culinary variety while comparing the exquisite wines provided by Chambers & Chambers Wine Merchants. With past years’ esteemed company including vintners from Grgich Hills Estate, Jordan Winery, Justin Vineyards & Winery and Shafer Vineyards as well as chefs from Capische, Five Palms Restaurant, MCC Culinary Academy and Spago Maui, this year’s event promises food and wine of the highest caliber. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in an auction for an elegant four-course catered dinner and wine pairing for 18 at the Hui’s historic Kaluanui Estate.
When Chambers & Chambers designated the Hui No’eau as the beneficiary of the event, they touched the lives and artistic endeavors of more than 10,000 people on Maui. The Hui serves the island with educational programs, running art classes and camps at their Baldwin Avenue location, and also with outreach in the community. With our own public education institutions struggling to provide quality art education, the Hui fulfills some of that need. Chambers & Chambers set the event so that 100 percent of proceeds after cost goes to the Hui.
This event will take place on Friday, Nov. 18 at the Hotel Wailea, beginning at 5:30pm. Tickets are $150, ($100 of which is tax deductible). Visit the Hui online at huinoeau.com to purchase your tickets today or call 572-6560.
