Beer and pie sound like a weird combination, but at Monkeypod Kitchen they
work beautifully together to make the newest of Peter Merriman’s concept
restaurants successful. With over 36 beers on tap, served over an amazing
handcrafted bar, served with foods created with sustainability in mind the
restaurant is both contemporary and island style. Their homemade pies on the
dessert menu are spectacular and seasonal.
I haven’t been to Ko Olina before, but their website at
http://www.koolina.com/ makes it sound amazing and luxurious, it is West
Oahu’s newest resort destination nestled right behind Barbers Point and
I am sure Oahu is going to love these beers and pies just as much as Maui.

second *Monkeypod Kitchen* location on O‘ahu in the Summer of 2012. Opening
in the world class Ko’Olina Resort, the new location will provide an

Embracing Chef Peter Merriman’s passion for regional and sustainable
cuisine, the new *Monkeypod Kitchen* will offer a family-friendly

The flagship *Monkeypod Kitchen* opened its doors in Maui’s Wailea Resort in

The new 10,000 square foot O‘ahu location will feature an exhibition

differentiating itself from the single level flagship restaurant in Wailea.
Designs for the restaurant are currently underway with architectural firm
Shook Kelly, which is also the architect and designer for the original
