Its really rare that you see a pairing dinner that involves tobacco, but what a fantastic idea! I am not afraid of learning a bit more about cigars and tobacco.
The menu is mindblowing, they had me at Foie gras and unagi “peanut butter and jelly”, but everything looks spectacular.

TOAST! Glenlivet Scotch Dinner & Cigar
Grand Wailea’s signature series, “Toast! A Celebration of Grand Food, Spirits & Fine Wine,” welcomes Rick Edwards, Glenlivet brand ambassador and master of scotch at a Glenlivet Scotch and Cigar tasting dinner on Monday, March 28 at Humuhumunukunukuapua’a restaurant. The pairing dinner will feature a four-course menu by Chef Isaac Bancaco with Glenlivet scotch pairings. The event starts with a welcome reception at 5:30 p.m. immediately followed by dinner. Foie gras and unagi “peanut butter and jelly” with macadamia nut butter and grilled pineapple-poha berry jam
Glenlivet 15 year French Oak Reserve
Island ahi spiny lobster wellington with shiro miso mustard and shoyu charred brussels sprouts
Glenlivet 18 year
Oven-roasted loin of lamb persillade Thai basil mole and celery root malasadas
Glenlivet 21 year
White chocolate and honey mousse with sour cherry compote and almond streusel
To be enjoyed under the stars in a private location accompanied by a Cigar Tasting by Sir Wilfred’s of Lahaina, Maui
