Burger King is throwing a party, and not just for its Chicken Fries. Deep fried fingers of meat are an acceptable reason to dance and celebrate life, but the remodeled burger franchise in Kahului’s Maui Marketplace will be strapping on its party hat for its Grand Re-Opening.
On Wednesday, Aug. 19, Kahului’s Burger King will jam out and provide partygoers with free samples and goodies from 10am to 2pm. DJ Trance & Mackie from Da JAM (98.3 FM) will supply the music along with games and giveaways as a part of their live broadcast. You can score the grand prize of a weekend staycation for two and other freebies like a round trip to Lanai on Expeditions, Ace Hardware gift cards and Burger King items and gift cards if you have a lucky spin on the Da Jam Prize Wheel. The store will receive a traditional Hawaiian blessing coupled with a showcase of Hawaiian music and Ke Kani Malie performing hula before the radio festivities start at 11am. It’s always reassuring to know that your Triple Whopper was touched with the Aloha spirit.
Don’t worry, Burger King knows the only reason you go to parties. The event will hand out free food, advertising itself as the attractive word combination “promotions” and “samples.” The new fiery Chicken Fries and its non-spicy original, along with Orange Freeze, Frozen Lemonade and ICEEs are sure to rival the samples of those at Costco.
Taking a cue from Miley Cyrus, Burger King won’t stop partying. It’s bringing the fun back on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 11am to 2pm, this time with a face painter and balloon twister for the keiki. Oh, and there will be even more promotions and samples (AKA you won’t need that Burger King coupon flyer.) The kids can also wear Burger King crowns, an honor complimentary of the restaurant.
You may also visit the Maui Marketplace Burger King anytime during Aug. 19-23 and sign your name up to possibly win a “shiny, new bike” courtesy of Dr. Pepper. The bike doesn’t even require a purchase to enter its lottery.
“Burger King is proud to be a member of the Maui community and so pleased to invite the community to our beautiful new location and offer specials to say Mahalo, Maui,” said Burger King Hawaii Managing Director Denise Yamauchi in a press release.
