Kid Stuff
Saturday (April 10), 11am-4pm, University of Hawaii Maui College, Kahului
There is no better way to bring people together and create positives vibes than with shave ice. Add a jumping castle, games, prizes, ono food, live entertainment, a bike giveaway and safety course, and a legendary day is in the making. The Valley Isle Keiki Fest usually draws more than 6,000 attendees, half being children. For little keiki, it will be just as wondrous as Disneyland, minus the eternally long lines and slightly spooky giant mouse. We have the Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle, Maui 4-H Organization, Education of Young Children Weekly Chapter, the Neighborhood Place of Wailuku and the County Department of Parks and Recreation to thank for this event, held in honor of The Month of the Young Child. You might even meet potential buddies for play groups, carpools and pool parties, so make sure to make an appearance. 250-2540 – Sierra Brown, MauiTime
