Explore Hawaii’s rich culture by taking a unique tour of Kihei’s revitalized Ko’ie’ie Fishpond. This 90-minute tour will take guests through the pond on an outrigger canoe and feature an opening Hawaiian chant and an historic overview of the grounds. The Ko’ie’ie Fishpond historically was a part of an ahupua’a system, a Hawaiian land division running from the mountain to the sea and is currently being revitalized. Proceeds from this tour go to ‘Ao’ao O Na Loko I’a O Maui and their work on Native Hawaiian Ponds. $40. 8am-9:30am. Ko’ie’ie Fishpond (Kihei); 808-359-1172, mauifishpond.com
