Pay tribute to the ukulele this Sunday at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center’s 8th Annual Maui ‘Ukulele Festival. Grab your low-laying beach chair or blanket and enjoy a host of acclaimed ‘ukulele maestros on the MACC lawn. Richard Ho’opi’i, Willie K and Paula Fuga are just a few of the performers attendees can look forward to. You can also shop for made-in-Hawaii crafts, grind on local food (available for purchase) and enter a chance to win a finely crafted ukulele of your own. Gather the ohana for a relaxing afternoon of community and music. Free. 1pm-6pm. Maui art and Cultural Center, A&B Amphitheater. (One Cameron Way, Kahului); 808-242-7469, Mauiarts.org
