Calling all willing and ready to work. This Saturday, volunteers are invited for a work day at the Olowalu Cultural Reserve. A historic site on Maui’s Westside, the reserve spans 75 acres and is home to many archaeological sites. Volunteers can adopt a taro patch, remove invasive plants, plant native flora, weed and do general maintenance. Meet at the Olowalu Store’s dirt parking lot. Join the effort every third Saturday of the month. 7am-11am. Olowalu Cultural Reserve (Honoapi’ilani Highway, Olowalu); 808 242-8565, olowalu.net
