And now we have Keokea Homestead’s First Annual Ho’olaule’a this Saturday. As you might expect, it’s presented by the Keokea Homestead Farm Lots Association. Guests are invited to enjoy food, crafts, music, education and community during the day-long paina. Lomilomi practitioners, poi pounding demonstrations, kupuna care, ahupua’a education and much more await you. The keiki corner will be complete with storytelling, Hawaiian body paint and games. Sip on Keokea coffee, try fresh pou and shop locally sourced products. Free. 10am-6pm. Keokea Hawaiian homestead baseyard (Ka’amana/Kula Hwy. intersection, at 16.9 Mile Marker of Kula Hwy).
