The eighth annual Butterfly Effect returns to Kanaha Beach Park this Saturday. Expecting a record 300 paddlers, the event celebrates water women from around the world, who will paddle from Baldwin Beach Park to Kanaha. The non-competitive event embraces power in numbers, environmental and social community. The festival after the paddle will feature food, music, SUP yoga, the traditional flower drop and much more. Paddlers will receive a gift bag that includes a native tree planted on Maui through Plan A Wish Foundation in honor of their participation. 10am. $35-$50. info@betheeffect.com
