This Friday evening, four-time Pushcart Prize winner, Guggenheim Fellow and The Academy of American Poets’ Lavan Award recipient Naomi Shihab Nye will do a talk story session at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Nye has written a variety of books and poetry, usually exploring themes of peace and goodwill. Here’s a chance to talk with an actual humanitarian (she’ll also sign books).
