Intrigued by Arduinos? Join Maui Makers for its weekly series of Arduino workshops this Friday. The evening will explore Arduinos–specifically, pulse width modulation (PWM). An Arduino is a single-board micro-controller that can sense the environment by receiving input from a variety of sensors and then control lights, motors and other gizmos. The workshop is open to all skill levels. More advanced students will work on building an actual project. 6pm. UH Maui Campus, Ka’a’ike Building Room 219 (310 West Ka’ahumanu Ave., Kahului), mauimakers.com/blog
