Oahu’s Kumu Kahua Theatre is presenting the renowned play Flowers of Hawaii by Lee Cataluna this Friday and Saturday at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Inspired by Hawaii’s history and people, the play depicts various family relationships specific to local families. From kids claiming the property of their living matriarch to a young mother pushing off her duties onto her own mother, Cataluna touches a variety of topics we will all recognize. $25.
