last
Thursday, as we reported. It’s actually NEXT Thursday. We apologize for any inconveniences. But if you did show up, kudos to you and your efforts are appreciated. As for the rest of y’all, come on down to Kamehameha Beach Park (505 Front St.) to comb the shore from Mala Ramp to Puamana Park. Not like you need an incentive, but there will be food and beverages for volunteers during, a BBQ immediately afterward, and a big ole after party later at the Hard Rock Cafe (free admission for beach helpers, $6 for scrubs) with the John Moore Project, Sirrus B Posse and a 30-minute surf doc, as well as a raffle and door prizes.
And mahalo to Hui O Wa’a Kaulua (the canoe club at 505), Surfrider Foundation, the Surf news network, Huliau (the organization of the seven surf schools of Lahaina), and everyone else taking part in this all-important and fun clean up. Call 210-445-2442 for more info.
