[COMEDY] The Nellie Olesons will have been praised by all the big dogs—Vanity Fair, The New York Times and Entertainment Weekly, to name a few. Finally, and I mean FINALLY they’re having their day here at Maui Time Weekly. A moment of silence in respect for this monumental achievement… (Silence followed by drum roll)… Maui Time Weekly says, “Fricking hilarious!” and “What the hell is a Nellie Oleson?!” Come to find out, “Nellie Oleson” is the name of Laura Ingalls’ snooty rich rival in Little House on the Prairie. Okay… I get it, do you? Anyway, the group formed in 1993 and since then has been touring the U.S. and Canada making fun of people from all walks of life, from boxing ring girls, PR whores, relationship gurus—you get the picture. Members Nora Burns, Terrence Michael and John Cantwell are talented, funny and mean. Don’t miss, “Night of 100 Nellies.” Tickets: $20. Call 242-SHOW. [LILIANA BEGLEY]
