[SPORTS] Ladies, it’s time to show your stuff. It’s the 6th Annual Honolua Wahine Surf Classic, where all females aged nine and up are invited to contend in an all-chick, all-skill-level competition. As usual, there are three divisions, including long board, short board and body board. The entry fee is only $30, which also entitles you to receive a contest t-shirt and goodie bag. Part of the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research. Trophies will be presented to winners first through sixth place, but there’ll also be prizes for those who place first through third. If you aren’t interested in participating, or you can’t because you’re a dumb boy, you could still be a winner—there’ll be $1 raffle tickets for prizes given throughout the day and you might just take home a backpack, surf bag or surf wear. Be sure to keep those tickets; at the end of the day, the main raffle will take place for a surfboard. For more info, contact Suzie Kauhane at 662-0159. [HEIDI KING]
