I’O RESTAURANT’S DECEMBER WINE CLUB
Friday (Dec. 18), I’o restaurant, Lahaina, 7-9 p.m.
Wine Spectator recently published their Top 100 list, the magazine’s “annual roundup of the year’s most exciting wines.” Following this, Front Street’s I’o restaurant is picking an adventurous “around the world” line-up from this illustrious list, to be featured at their December Wine Club tasting!
Indeed, I’o is a fine place for fine wine (at this event, wine plus pupus for $30)—as guests are in the knowledgeable hands of part-owner and operations manager Stephan Bel Robert, who is a Court of Master Sommeliers (I guess they thought Cork of Master Sommeliers was too cheesy) “level-one sommelier,” along with wine steward Richard Clark, who just last month achieved level-two status.
{You must wait to sip, but not so to click! Venture on to learn just what exactly a sommeliers is, sing 99 bottles of wine on the wall, or read the latest from The Wall Street Journal’s “Tastings,” by husband and wife team Dorothy Gaiter and John Brecher … And, read on with MT, in this review of I’o by Ashley Fitch}
