Author Michael Ondaatje will make an appearance in the Green Room at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center this Saturday, June 25. Known for his beautiful works, Ondaatje will dissolve the lines between poetry, past and present, thought and feeling, intellect and imagery. He’s authored books like The Collected Works of Billy the Kid (1973), Running in the Family (1982) and Anil’s Ghost (2000), a composition about Sri Lanka’s civil war. There will be a reading, discussion, Q&A, and a reception following the presentation with music, dessert, refreshments and a book signing. Ticket sales will benefit the W.S.
