This Friday, Abraham.In.Motion invites beginner-to-intermediate dancers interested in elevating their bodywork technique to the Maui Arts and Cultural Center. Rooted in a range of genres from classical to hip-hop, Kyle Abraham began his dance training at the Creative and Performing Arts High School in Pittsburgh. Since then he’s made Dance Magazine’s 25 to watch for 2009 and won a Jacob’s Pillow Dance Award and a Bessie Award. Participants will focus on fluidity, articulation and core body strengthening. To participate, you must RSVP to MACC’s Program Manager (kahulu@mauiarts.org). Free. 4:30-6pm. Maui Art and Cultural Center (One Cameron Way, Kahului), Mauiarts.org
