The Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) has been awarded the $50,000 FLEX grant from the Hawaii Community Foundation.
“We are deeply grateful to HCF for taking a leadership role in educating donors and the community about the importance of contributing operating support to local non-profits,” said MAPA’s Executive & Artistic Director David C. Johnston.
The FLEX Grants Program provides operating support for high-performing nonprofits in Hawaii and may be used for a variety of purposes including administrative costs, program expenses or salaries. MAPA’s award was funded by the Robert Emens Black Fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation.
