Ruby’s 1940s-themed diner has opened a new location at Whalers Village in Ka’anapali. The new Ruby’s Dinette is located at Whalers Village lower level, adjacent to the food court. The restaurant will be open daily from 7am-9pm, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Ruby’s Dinette is the second location for Ruby Restaurant Group on Maui. Ruby’s Diner at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Shopping Center in Kahului opened in 2002.
The first Ruby’s Diner was opened in 1982 in Newport Beach, California. The chain is named after the founder Doug Cavanaugh’s mother. The restaurant group now has locations in several Mainland states as well as Hawaii.
Like the restaurants in the chain, the dinette will specialize in burgers, sandwiches and fries.
