From 6 – 10 p.m. on Thursday, October 1st, the Pa’ia Tattoo Parlor will celebrate its grand opening, hosted by owners Billy and Lasha Crandall, “Professor Yates” and Leah Honma.
Erin Smith of The Throwdowns along with Murray Thorne of The Celtic Tigers will perform, with music starting at 7 p.m. An after party is slated at Jacque’s North Shore Bistro.
Additionally, there will be a retail store “stacked” with A Makebelieve Co. threads and authentic Paia Tattoo Parlor apparel, as well as a gallery featuring resident tattoo artists’ work. Plans are in the works for continuing monthly showcases exhibiting the works of other tattoo artists–local and visiting alike.
Located at 120 Hana Hwy. (up the staircase next to Jacque’s), the Parlor will house four tattoo stations to be manned by Justin Yates, Circle Norstrom and Tanya Arens from Evolved Art on the North Shore.
The Parlor’s hours will run, Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., with the retail shop closing at 6 p.m. Call 808-575-2285 for more information!
