MUSUBI MAN – “Musubi Man” will appear at the Kahului Public Library this Thursday. The Honolulu Theatre for Youth (HTY) will present him as part of a special tour of four Neighbor Island public libraries. This “local version” of the “Gingerbread Man” follows a magical Musubi on the adventure of a lifetime. This 45-minute performance is suitable for ages three and up. MARK BENNICK – The Mirage, Monte Carlo, Tropicana and Cosmopolitan are just a few of the venues where magician Mark Bennick has wowed audiences. Now he’s making his Maui stop at Ka’anapali Beach Hotel’s KUPANAHA Magic Show. He’s been referred to as a “young David Copperfield” by the Las Vegas Leisure Guide and has been practicing magic since he was a teen. The three and a half hour evening of ooh and ahhs will kick off with a welcome Mai Tai, followed by a three-course gourmet meal. GUTTERMOUTH – They’re a punk rock band known for their explicit lyrics and deliberate shock value. GRAHAM HILL – The Sustainable Living Institute of Maui and Upcountry Sustainability is welcoming Graham Hill, a two-time TED main stage speaker and recent presenter at TEDxMaui. He founded the eco-blog and vlog TreeHugger.com. Hill also runs LifeEdited, which shows how using less stuff and space can lead to better health, financial status and energy.
