Billy Currington – Sat. Oct 17. Country superstar and platinum-selling recording artist Billy Currington is set to perform at the MACC! Los Texmaniacs – Fri, Oct. 23- Los Texmaniacs is a conjunto band created by Max Baca in 1997. Baca wanted to create a band that incorporated elements from genres such as Rock & Roll and Jazz while still honoring the roots of conjunto Tejano. Conjunto Tejano was born in south Texas at the end of the 19th century after German settlers introduced the button accordion. The bajo sexto, a 12-string guitar-like instrument, has come to accompany the button accordion and is integral to the conjunto sound. Tickets are $45. 7:30pm. TriLanai Triathlon – Sun. Nov 22. TriLanai concludes the fall 2015 season with its annual triathlon.
