[BOOK SIGNING] I don’t know about you, but I love Lanai. I love the ferry ride over, big open spaces, shipwrecks, dolphins, little town, people, Gay street, Garden of the Gods and, most of all, the shooting range. Oh, how I love shotguns. If I could make money doing what I’m doing now, but in Lanai, I would move there in a heartbeat. Naturally, when I received a copy of the beautiful book, The Story of Lanai, I couldn’t help but become obsessed. The author, George C. Munro–who has since passed away–was the resident manager of Lanai ranch between 1911-1930. His descendants, who brought the book to its completion, will be on hand at the Bailey House to sign copies and talk story about Lanai and its rich history. Call 244-3326 for more details.
