Under the shade of the kou trees, the “Lei Ladies” of the Lahaina-Honolua Senior Citizens Club will string fresh flower lei. Things to bring: beach mats / grinds / all your ‘ohana.
“Jason Kealaokala Sadang started playing music at the age of eight. Understanding fundamentally what it took to make music, he has had the opportunity to play with island greats like The Danny Kapoi Trio, The Waiehu Sons, Ohana Kahaialii, Keali’i Reichel, and Uluwehi Guerrero. Playing music has taken Jason to Canada, Japan, and the infamous Carnegie Hall. He has also played at numerous events throughout the islands. Owner of his own record label Kealaokala Records and J-Dawg Productions, Jason is an accomplished musician and plays a wide array of genres including Traditional Hawaiian music, R&B, Jazz, Reggae, and island music.”
