[CULTURE/MULTIMEDIA] Part of Ebb & Flow Arts’ North South East West Festival 2007. “Thief of Fire, Waters of Life” tells the story of demigods Maui and Prometheus, both of whom stole fire to save humanity. The plot has an unusual twist at the end. The message is that humanity can go no further West than the Hawaiian Islands. It is here where we must confront our survival in a microcosm of the planet Earth. Also on this program are multi media experiments with audience participation. Featured artists include Linda Whittemore, John Shoemaker, painters, Jamy Woodbury, Lisa Gagnon, dancers, Frank Kane, performance artist, Peter Swanzy, DVD creation, John ZanGrando, woodwinds, Paul Marchetti, percussion.
