Lahaina’s historic Banyan Tree lights up during the 18th Annual Holiday Lighting ceremony this Saturday and Sunday, December 5th and 6th. On Saturday, 6,500 Christmas lights will twinkle (6:30pm lighting). That day Santa Claus will appear (noon) and there will be cookie decorating and photo ops with the Hawaiian snowman (4pm). The Lahainaluna High School Band, along with other local musicians, will add to the holiday cheer. The music will continue on Sunday.
