Haleakala National Park presents a commercial-free day this Thursday, Nov. 12. It’s a day dedicated to cultural tradition and practice, so all commercial tours will be prohibited from entering the park. The park will remain open to members of the public, who can hopefully enjoy the park’s splendor without having to negotiate around big tour groups and buses. Haleakala National Park. Nps.gov
