Haleakala National Park presents the last Commercial-Free Day of the year this Tuesday, Dec. 22. That’s right–no commercial tour buses or groups will be in the park. All commercial tours will be prohibited, allowing Native Hawaiians to honor the sacred mountaintop unfettered. The park will remain open to visitors. Haleakala National Park, Nps.gov
