‘PEACE ON YOUR WINGS’ A MUSICAL AND A MOVEMENT – Sun. Aug 6. “Peace On Your Wings” is based on the true story of 12-year-old victim Sadako Sasaki in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, co-authored by Jenny Taira and Lauren Rubin. Taira, will give the keynote talk and Rubin will sing excerpts from the musical. Original cast members Shayna Yasunaga and Carson Davis will perform a short scene and musical numbers and share their experiences.
