[PLANNING SYMPOSIUM] The press release on what’s going to be discussed at this thing sounds deadly dull—“The focus of these efforts will be on housing for a sustainable workforce; the execution of policy; traffic; staffing; and other workforce-related issues consequent to community-wide housing”—but put simply, it’s a big meeting for people to listen and talk about why the hell no one except the Oprah Winfreys and Everett Dowlings of the world can afford to live on this rock anymore. Hosted by the Kihei Community Association, it’s free and open to the public. [ANTHONY PIGNATARO]
