If you’ve been slacking and still need a Mother’s Day gift, Saturday’s 38th annual Seabury Hall Craft Fair (May 7, 9am-5pm) is your best bet to find a handcrafted gift so beautiful, Mom won’t know (or care) that you waited until the 11th hour. Better yet, take her with you for a springtime stroll Upcountry, and you’ll earn brownie points to boot (P.S. If you want a rundown of great Mom’s Day events, I’ll again direct you to our Da Kine Calendar). The fair features over 100 local artisans, ono treats, silent and live auctions, games and activities for keiki and entertainment by Gail Swanson, Dr. Nat and Rio Ritmo, Haiku Hillbillys, Marty Dread and more. [Seabury Hall, 480 Olinda Rd., Makawao; $3 adults / free for keiki 12-years-old or younger; seaburyhall.org]
