I felt shock and dismay as I watched you. Walking to my car in the grocery store parking lot, I watched you—a store employee—collecting shopping carts. You seemed to be doing a good job, until I saw you take a bag of fast food trash that was in one of the carts and throw it on the ground. Brah, we usually blame tourists for disrespecting like that, but you were no tourist. I was outraged—so much so that I grabbed my cell phone and called the store manager. After I explained what I just saw, all your “manager” could say was “uh huh, ok.” “What?” I asked. “You’re not upset? Are you going to do anything about it? Do you even care?” All I got in reply was more monotone grunting. Here’s a thought: how about the both of you become tourists here and take your disgusting, thoughtless behavior somewhere else.
