Celebrate the lunar new year on Front Street this Friday at the Wo Hing Museum. The afternoon kicks off with an explanation of Chinese New Year, followed by a talk about jade, pottery and bronze tomb artifacts. There’s a Chinese calligraphy demonstration and another on Chinese knot tying (3-4pm). Indulge in traditional Chinese New Year foods available for purchase (4-7pm) Be sure to catch lion dancing and the New Year blessing by Au’s Shaolin Arts Society at the entrance to Wo Hing temple (5pm).
