MauiTime readers love Maui Tacos’ fresh approach to the fish taco. Chef Pepe’s signature cilantro jalepeno sauce seals the deal. Shells and chips are fried in 100 percent cholesterol-free vegetable oil, but they offer soft taco shells, too. I like to add their housemade guacamole and salsa to everything. Add their beans, made with no lard, and it’s no wonder these babies are considered the best.
