Tokyo Tei
This restaurant originally opened in Kahului in 1934 in a building that doesn’t even exist anymore–it might have been wiped out by a tsunami or something. Anyway, they have fascinating old time photos of Kahului to prove it. Lucky for us, they’ve stuck around for three generations and are still serving their authentic Nihongo cuisine and ever popular Teishoku meals in lacquer boxes. 1063 L.
